To encourage more overseas and local work, E-JAM has increased the exposure of our jobseekers by offering free online profiles. This mean Employers can now search our database and view all your basic information for FREE. They can search for remote (telecommuting), temporary, permanent, contract, H2B & J1 workers. This is an opportunity to shine by displaying your skills and experience to potential employers.

In our efforts to showcase our jobseekers, we are asking everyone to please make sure their profile is up to date (see Profile Update Tips below). If you DO NOT wish to have your profile PUBLIC, please login to your account and select PRIVATE next to PROFILE ACCESS.

Profile Update Tips

1. Professional Headshots - Please upload photographs that depict you as a professional jobseeker. You only have one chance to make a first impression. So please, no party shots, pictures with friends, or with hand signals, cartoon characters, etc.

2. List All Your Skills/Certifications - Employers will now have the chance to search our database for jobseekers to fulfill all types of positions. Some may be remote opportunities where you can work through the Internet, positions here in Jamaica, or jobs overseas. Take advantage of this opportunity and showcase all your skills and certifications you have acquired in recent years.

3. Resume Title - This is critical when employers are searching our database for resumes. A Resume Title as John Smiths Resume or University Graduate is not suitable. Instead, use a Resume Title that describes your profession; or skills such as, Business Researcher or Pastry Chef; this makes it easier for employers to search and find you.

4. Overview - This section is where you can highlight the type of position you are looking for as well as temporary goals and objectives. If you are waiting to find your right job, but willing to take on temporary work in certain fields, this is where you would state that.
